  • Minnestoa State Representative, Ruth Richardson

    Ruth Richardson, elected in 2018 as Minnesota State Representative for District 52B, which includes Mendota Heights, Inver Grove Heights, Sun Fish Lake, and Northern Eagan.

    Ruth is the Director of Programs and National Strategic Initiatives for the Minnesota Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (MOFAS). She was also recently elected to the State of Minnesota's House of Representatives for District 52B. Ruth has a JD from William Mitchell College of Law and served as a community faculty member at Metropolitan State University. She serves on the Minnesota Judicial Branch’s Committee for Equality and Justice, the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Behavioral Health Planning Council, as co-chair for the DHS African American Birth Outcomes Task Force, the Minnesota Department of Health's Health Equity and Leadership Advisory Committee, and is past Chairperson of the Minnesota Board of Social Work. She is also a member of the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism's Interagency Coordinating Committee on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Justice Workgroup.
