Akeem Marsh, MD, DFAACAP
Akeem Marsh, MD, DFAACAP, is a nationally recognized child and adolescent psychiatrist who serves as Vice President of the Vincent J. Fontana Center for Child Protection and Medical Director of the Home for Integrated Behavioral Health at The New York Foundling, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As an active member of the Psychological Maltreatment Alliance Research Committee, his recent publications have examined the effects of parental social media use, children’s experiences growing up online, and the child protection implications of psychologically maltreating behaviors on social media.
