Pete Singer (1970-2025) devoted his entire career to addressing the needs of maltreated children and adult survivors of abuse. As a therapist, social worker, educator, writer and consultant he had a profound impact on the lives of thousands of children throughout the nation. As the founder of Care-in-Action, he built collaborations between faith and child protection communities to meet the needs of children and families impacted by abuse. In the five years he served as Executive Director of GRACE (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment), Pete spearheaded a national movement to create trauma-informed faith communities. Pete was a regular speaker at national and international child abuse conferences including the AVA Global Health Summitt. Although he left us too early, Pete's work will continue to impact faith and child protection communities long into the future.
