Rev. Dr. Sanghoon Yoo
Rev. Dr. Sanghoon Yoo is the founder of The Faithful City, Arizona Trauma Informed Faith Coalition, and the Weave and Cleave Movement, serving primarily the Phoenix metropolitan area for three decades. He offers trauma informed care training, organizational and systematic cultural change consultation, and an annual statewide conference to the faith community and other social sectors, bridging the gap between faith and science, traumatology and theology, and government and faith communities. Collaborating with the Maricopa County Public Health, he runs a project called “Creating Communities of Belonging” to build safe relationships and communities, preventing substance use and other unhealthy coping behaviors. Currently, he is a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Social Work at Huntington University.
