The California Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (CAPSAC) is the California state chapter of APSAC and shares the same mission, vision, and commitment as APSAC. CAPSAC aims to provide additional support to California professionals working in the field of child abuse through training, consultation, advocacy, and networking. Participation in the ACEs Health Champions Network and Gatherings promotes the aims and purposes of CAPSAC, in particular the aim to provide forums and other mechanisms for the exchange of information among professionals working within the fields of child abuse and neglect prevention, identification, intervention, treatment and research.
