Nora Montalvo-Liendo, Ph.D., FAAN
Dr. Montalvo-Liendo is a retired nursing professor and researcher. Dr. Montalvo-Liendo has several publications on the topic of violence and abuse. Her research focused on interventions to empower survivors of abuse and the social needs and well-being of low-income children with a history of adverse childhood experiences. She connects research to practice and maintains an active clinical practice in a shelter on the Texas-Mexico border. She is committed to helping survivors of abuse rebuild their lives.
