David McCollum, MD
David McCollum, MD, is a retired emergency physician who was a co-founder of the Academy on Violence and Abuse. He has worked for the past several decades to improve the health practitioners’ understanding of the role violence, abuse, and traumatic stress play in a person’s overall health. He has lectured on numerous topics on ACEs, child and adult abuse (including domestic violence), and the health consequences of childhood sex abuse.
