TIHCER Presents: Survey of ACEs and PCEs in Medical Trainees | November 18 @ 3pm EDT

Please join via ZOOM for a presentation and discussion with:

Michael Arenson, MD
Pediatric Resident at University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital

Title: “Survey of ACEs and PCEs in Medical Trainees”

Mike hopes to strengthen communities by healing its most vulnerable children and expand healthcare beyond the medical complex into neighborhoods and schools so all children – no matter their race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or zip code – can thrive. He is currently a pediatric resident at University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, and has a Master of Arts in Bioethics and an NIH-funded Master of Science in Clinical Research. In his third year of residency, he is looking for jobs at academic health centers and plans to spend his non-clinical time researching how to best screen, treat, and prevent Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), toxic stress, and inter-generational transmission of trauma.
