Lisa Conradi, PsyD

Lisa Conradi, PsyD is a Clinical Psychologist at the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego. Currently, she is serving as the Project Co-Director for both the SAMHSA-funded “Chadwick Trauma-Informed Systems Dissemination and Implementation Project” (CTISP-DI), which is a Category II Center within the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN), and the ACYF-funded “California Screening, Assessment, and Treatment Initiative” (CASAT). Both projects are focused on helping child welfare systems become more trauma-informed in their daily practice. In this role, she has authored and co-authored a variety of publications on trauma screening and assessment practices, creating trauma-informed systems and presented nationally on innovative practices designed to improve the service delivery system for children who have experienced trauma. She recently served as the Program Manager for the Breakthrough Series Collaborative on “Using Trauma-Informed Child Welfare Practice to Improve Placement Stability” under sub-contract with the National Center for Child Traumatic Stress at UCLA. She has received training from the developers on Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Dr. Conradi received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis and her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, California. She is on the editorial boards for the “Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment and Trauma,” “Journal of Family Violence,” and the “Journal of Child and Adolescent Trauma” and served as an editor for the recently published book, “Female Offenders of Intimate Partner Violence.”
