“for Om” is AVA's documentary of Om’s mother, Leah Moses, describing Om’s life, including the violent and controlling relationship she experienced with Om’s father, and the various abuses the father reportedly inflicted upon their children that ended in the father murdering Om. Om’s murder was preceded by the second custody evaluator recommending that Om should join his younger sister in the full custody of Leah. Om died after Leah had spent 14 years trying to protect herself and her children in family court after her reports of the father’s violence toward her and his abuse of their two children were rejected by child protective services and law enforcement. Due to the emotional intensity of this video, AVA has chosen to post it in this way rather than like AVA’s other videos. Please read the following cautionary statement before watching the video.
